Courtney L. Carter
Managing Partner
Courtney is a North Carolina Board Certified Family Law Specialist and has been recognized by Business North Carolina Legal Elite in 2025 and 2026. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Courtney relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2011, where she met her husband.
As a child of divorce, and now a wife and mother to her two children, Courtney has a deep personal understanding of the challenges a family can, and often does, face when going through a divorce or custody dispute. Courtney leans on that experience to help guide her clients through their family law issue, to achieve the best possible results.
With over a decade of experience, Courtney has dedicated her practice to the area of family law with a focus on Divorce, Child Custody, Child Support, Equitable Distribution, Alimony, Post Separation Support, Prenuptial Agreements, and Postnuptial Agreements. Courtney prides herself on providing direct, honest, and vigorous representation for each client.

Corey A. Noland
Managing Parter
Corey is a North Carolina Board Certified Family Law Specialist and has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a rising star in family law in 2024, 2025, and 2026 and by Business North Carolina Legal Elite in 2024 and 2025, and 2026.
Corey grew up in Union County, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he graduated in three years with degrees in History and Political Science. Corey then received his law degree from The University of North Carolina School of Law.
Corey lives in Union County, North Carolina with his wife. Corey’s practice is dedicated to guiding clients through what is often times the worst period of their lives. Corey represents clients in all aspects of family law cases, including Equitable Distribution, Post Separation Support, Alimony, Child Custody, Child Support, Prenuptial Agreements and Postnuptial Agreements. Corey prides himself on being a strong litigator who is ready to represent his clients at the negotiating table and in the courtroom.

Gail is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal (NCCP), with more than a decade of experience in family law. She understands that clients often come to our firm during some of the most challenging times of their lives, and approaches each case with empathy, patience, and care. Known for her steady guidance and attention to detail, Gail helps clients navigate the complexities of family law by providing clear, helpful explanations at every stage. She is committed to ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
Gail works closely with Courtney and Corey to deliver thoughtful, responsive representation to every client. A long-time resident of Charlotte, Gail has called the area home for nearly 30 years. She and her husband, Jason, have two grown children, and enjoy visiting them in Chicago and along the Jersey Shore.
